I love life. Its infinite variety, awesome beauty, and the awareness that permeates it has intrigued me for as long as I can remember. The experience of living inspires me and being in Nature is absolutely vital to my wellbeing. When not practicing massage, you will likely find me in some way communing with the natural world. I love to explore and am endlessly curious about the world both within and around us.
It is with this fascination, this childlike curiosity, that I strive to always approach my life, as well as the healing arts. I believe all of us have the opportunity to learn something from one another, and view my clients as teachers with their own experiences. As a practitioner, I am not someone coming in with an agenda to "fix". Instead, I listen in order to support you with the tools and knowledge I have. As a client, you know your body best; you have spent your entire life as its inhabitant. While certain issues will likely be alleviated during your session, it is the dynamic, holistic person that I seek to address. Your feedback is essential and always welcome as part of the session.
Building on this, I believe each person has the ability and opportunity for growth. Change is inherent to nature, and the possibility always exists to break through our preconceived notions and the limiting beliefs we may hold about ourselves. Massage and bodywork are unique settings where we are provided the space to have greater awareness of ourselves and get a sense of what supports us best.
I first began True Nature Wellness in 2010 in Flagstaff, Arizona (as True Nature Massage and Bodywork and briefly as Bodhi Wellness) with these tenets in mind, providing the foundation for serving others as a business. True Nature Wellness operates from our family's home in Cottonwood-Verde Village, Arizona. Our modest space is grounding and allows for clients to feel truly nurtured. I feel humbled to work in this healing landscape and am grateful every day for the continuously evolving journey my life has taken in order to be able to do something I love.
Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to help you along your journey as well.
